Dispatch My Load has an immediate opening for a person who has 2- 3 years of experience in accounting/ billing, with an aptitude for numbers, strong organizational skills, and an overall desire to make a statement for a rapidly growing company. This position is a "hands-on" position. The best match will be an individual that doesn't mind working independently and remotely but also exudes professionalism.

This is currently a part-time position, you will work remotely, you must have internet, a desktop computer, and a mobile phone.  As our business grows,  more hours will be added to a full-time position.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Owner to manage and direct daily activities, and plan for the future.
• Management of accounting and billing.
• Management of receivables and payables.
• Establish and monitor internal control processes required to manage and grow the business.
• Creating daily and monthly reports
• Process month-end and year-end soft close, to include bank and general ledger reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Provide support and assistance to CPA with tax audits and tax returns.
• Anticipate and address the department and company needs.
• Build an effective team
• Communicate effectively

Requirements:

• Must have a thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures, as this is a hands-on position with a small company.
• Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of an associate’s degree in accounting or 2 -3 years of experience.
• Must have verifiable experience in third party invoicing and invoicing.
• Must have verifiable experience with accounting software.
• Must have an in-depth working knowledge of QuickBooks Enterprise, and QuickBooks Online.
• Accuracy and attention to detail are a must!
• Must have advanced MS Excel skills to include pivot tables, data validation, v/h-lookup, and advanced sort & filter skills.
• Must be of an analytical mindset.
• Must be able to work independently or as a team member depending on the requirements of the task.
• Must be able to work with confidential and sensitive information, and maintain confidential integrity.

Preferences:

• Do you have experience in the trucking industry?
• Do you have your CPA license?
• Are you a self-starter?

Physical Demands:

• Frequent sitting with computer use requiring close vision, repetitive motion, lifting, bending, standing for prolonged periods of time.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
